Happy New Year! Been awhile since I posted.
Here's some various new stuff. 2 commercial jobs I did.
One was a character design job for some stickers which I did for the Oxygen Group, the other a commission for an Audio Visual company Impact AV. The last one was my latest entry into the Steampunk:Myths and Legends Challenge on CgTalk. This is the legend of Pan who chased a nymph called Pitys. To get away from him she changed herself into a tree. I obviously put a steampunk spin on it. Go check out all the entries, come cool stuff.

Tattoo Queen

Have I ever mentioned I love The Drawing Board........
About once a month they do a Drawing Jam, where they you give you some reference imagery and everyone does their own take on it. Well this month it was Kat Von D tattoo artist off the show LA Ink and owns 'High Voltage' Tattoo in LA. I've been playing with the style, I hope you like.

The Rendevous

Pollution hung in the air...... the air was kinda like a cupboard and the pollution like an old coat. His carapace was slightly itchy today, it was this humid weather.

He didn't really know what to expect. This meeting had been planned for some time.

Then a shadow loomed over him....it was here.

Vampirella

Been awhile since my last post, went to Europe for a holiday. It was amazing to go to the Louvre and Uffizi galleries and see the work of the masters. So this is my first piece back. I haven't done much fan art but have always wanted too. I saw a Thread on the Drawing Board for Vampirella and thought I would have a crack, fairly happy with the result. Hope you all like! More soon...........

This started off as a pic for a friend. Also I started doing Wing Chun Kung Fu about 4 months ago, so I've started to get more interested in Chinese culture. And I've always loved Chinese Dragons, they're meant to be good luck!

Here's a quick piece I did yesterday for a friends birthday card (he likes skulls like me).

Eye - Volution

This is a piece I did for the 9 x 5 exhibit that Illustrators Australia is running.
We were all given 9 x 5 pieces of wood and the theme this year is 'Connected' see if you can figure out that one!
I have done a limited print run of 2, each is different as I printed them on canvas and painted some more highlights in acrylic over the top of each.

If you're in Melbourne, head on down to: Space 39, 39 Little Collins St, Level 2, Melbourne.
It runs from Monday 29 to Wednesday 31 and is open 11am-5pm.
